Scouting for me started with watching all 3 of my brothers receive their Eagles, along with learning from the best teachers ever, my Parents, who were active scouting volunteers and both earned the Silver Beaver Award. Now with a family of my own I have worked right along with my sons through their scouting experience. I have been the Director of Cub Scout Day Camp for the District, Den Leader, Webelos Leader, Cub Master and Scoutmaster. As Scoutmaster for the past 6 years, my focus has been with the first-year Boy Scouts and helping them obtain their First Class Rank. I have received the District Award of Merit and have completed the Woodbadge Course along with being a Troop Guide for one course. I have also been active with School PTA’s and currently a Girl Scout Cadet Leader. I work for the Westminster School District as a Special Education Instructional Aid. Jerry and I have been married for 20 years and have 4 children.
My scouting career started when my son joined Cub Scouts. I was first an Assistant Den Leader for two years, and then was the Webelos Den Leader. I also was the recruiter for the pack. Bridging over to Boy Scouts, I became an Assistant Scoutmaster and completed my Woodbadge training. After a year, I became the troop's Adult Quartermaster, responsible for the troop trailer and equipment, and joined Order of the Arrow. I have been to four summer camps and trained and participated with a crew to Philmont. I was on staff for three years at Trailblazers / NYLT as a Scoutmaster.
